Symptom: squalling sound from back of 6.7 motor. Using a hose for an ear pace, the sound is coming from behind turbo and upper intake man a fold.
What I have done thus far is:qqqqqqqqqqqqqq
1. changed fuel filters
2. water pumps replaced
3. vacuum pump replaced
4. fan drive pully replaced
5. belt replaced
6. fan drive pully replaced
7. replaced both radiators
8. aftermarket oil and trans cooler
Things I have checked:
1. no suet (smoke residue) on fire wall or back of motor.
2. radiator fluid on side of block (passenger side) very minimal
3. on a long trip tuck will use a qt of radiator fluid.
4. no codes
Things I don't think it is:
No banshee scream, so exhaust studs and manifolds should be good.
No grinding or chattering from trubo.
More useful info:
The squalling does not happen at startup only after 1st rev, or letting idling for a few mins.
Inter guess are:
turbo up pipe gaskets, something with EGR, broken manifold studs,
is the coolant consumption a leak out side of the motor like the lower radiator hose from engine to radiator or is the leak from an internal engine issue?
Have you checked for play in your turbo impeller?
2011-14 Turbos are known for bearing issues. Check side to side and end to end.
Initial sound will be a hum, then a pop and hum, then a squeel.

Cannot find the leak just a wet spot.
do you have any codes?
no codes

you should put the file on you tube….that way it can be heard/viewed with out a login.
right now, your file wants to launch in one drive and it wants me to pass along my userid and password.
that would be risky Business now a days.
This was a really nice way to word this. I don't know if the OP is legit or not, but I stopped caring (and thought scam) when it went to a log-in screen and just moved on. No offense, but I'm not giving up any log in info to help a maybe with 5 posts. Maybe it's legit, but with all the BS going on with scams, the OP should have thought about it. It's not hard to put something on YT.
