After I finally got the electrical problems cleaned up on my '04, I realized my key pad didn't work anymore. Since I'd replaced the computer with a totally new one I didn't expect it to work. However, I've heard you can add a custom code into the system.
Is there a process to add a code when you don't have a code? I reprogrammed the original keys and I reprogrammed the fobs so I have 5 key and three fobs so it's not like I can't get in. I just like to have everything working as best as possible to design specifications.
Have you used the ForScan app before ? You can find the security code in the security module listing ( VSM ). The master code is usually on a sticker on the VSM there above the fuse box. It's in bold numbers ( 5 digits ). You need the master code to program any other temporary codes.
