Code for door keypad
I am new to the expedition world. I have a 04 Expedition EB 5.4L and do not
have the code card for the key pad. I know on my SUPERDUTY it was located
under the dash. Also I only have one key for the vehicle. Is there a way I can
reprogam the key my self without going to the stealership to have
reprogrammed. Thanks for any input.

key issue: you have to go to dealer if you only have one working key.
code issue: while at the dealer, have them grab the code from the computer they will use to program a new key. shouldn't cost any extra because they are alreay using the computer.

I actually found the keypad code after tearing off some panels in the truck.
It was behind the fuse panel on the passenger side(kick panel) up high and to
the left. The key part really sucks. Thanks 04MarkIII.

A new key and remote programmed at dealer is about $130. Nice, huh? Get a spare set on ebay and have the key cut on a normal key cutter, then program it yourself using your two other keys. Secure third set in safe place.

I called the dealer and got a quote. One key and reprogram is 112.00 plus tax.
Just to program if I have my own key is 69.00 and the key was 43.00.
I looked on ebay and found keys for 15.00 each. I may go the route of
cutting my own keys and bring in for a program.
In the owners manual it tells you how to add up to five additional keys.
