Definitely a fine line between love and hate with this truck.

I wrestled that turbo around probably 6-8 years ago and found it to be rather heavy.

I haven't gotten any younger.

"While I'm in there" it is!

Yeah it's a definitely a core hassle, which I am good with but mine seems to be a PITA with the added hurdles. I now remove my oil filter/fuel filter housing which are dummy housings.

UPDATE: It started and ran today. 98 degrees and threatening rain so I quit for the day.

Leak check and maybe a drive tomorrow if all goes well.

Got everything back together and went for a ride.

Still have a leak - just don't know where since the fan spreads everything around.

Diagnosis begins Monday.

It starts and runs after me working on it, so there's that.

Hmmmm...leaking water pump?

If so, replace with Motorcraft for $100 (Rockauto) or Ford for $130 (Ford Parts Giant)?
