Supposedly, they fixed or rebuilt the valve body... but there was no fluid, no gasket, no other anything on the WO, and my clever eyes didn't see any tool marks on my pan bolts... so I would bet even money the tech didn't do a thing to my transmission except pocket the money for the labor.

These are exactly my symptoms on a 24 XLT with the 10R140 and the 7.3. It is not constant and happens seldom enough that I always notice it. Not a real harsh shift but kinda of a little jerk. Always 3 to 4 when under very low throttle, unloaded. I am not gonna take it in unless it gets worse as I have a free extended warranty from my dealer as a good will gesture for a lot of other initial problems I had. I've got time to see if it's just a quirk or a problem.
