Catalytic Converter question

So my recent acquisition (‘05 V10 Excursion) had suffered vandalism on the dealers lot. Catalytic was cut out and I knew that going in. Ordered a brand new Walker EP 55692 and today we got it installed. Harder than I expected but that had more to do with getting out the remaining piece of the catalytic piping at the muffler inlet. Either way, I have run into a snag. I removed the old sensor from the pipe and since it appeared to be ok, I figured I would reuse it at least for the moment. I went to screw it in the new pipe and it’s a no go. Sensor is coarser thread pitch and Walker catalytic is finer pitch. Anyone experienced this before? And if so, does anyone know what the part number for the fine pitch sensor might be? Rock Auto doesn’t appear to differentiate.
