Once I got into the gas tank I noticed my fuel pump assembly was different than all the examples I've seen online. So white canister with clips at the top, no screws and the hose assemblies appear to be different. The wiring is definitely different than the Delphi that I got from RockAuto. Any advice on how to disassemble to replace pump. Sticker on the lid says Bosch, I bought a Delphi to replace.
I think I may have answered part of my question. I thought that my fuel pump was original equipment and it happened to be manufactured by Bosch. I think the fuel pump in my tank is a Bosch replacement, which is why it looks completely different from all the other videos I've seen on repair and replace of the fuel pump. I'm the second owner of the vehicle, so it appears it was replaced prior to my owning. But since I had the tank down to swap out the filler neck I thought it would be a good time to swap out the pump as well being that the truck is 25 years old. There were a couple signs that the tank had already been dropped previously, one of them being that one of the bolts was cross threaded and needed to be cut off in order to drop the tank. I still will do the replacement however I will be hitting the parts store tomorrow to see if I can find a Bosch pump or a whole assembly to swap out. If anyone knows if my theory is correct please let me know. Or I hope this info helps out somebody else.

I also bought a DELPHI replacement pump. My fuel filler tube was leaking when I filled up the tank to full. I have a 2002 V10. I would find an official ford parts dealer online and get the correct original part number which you can then search / shop with to get picture of correct replacement. I would also get the tank cleaned first as the DELPHI warrantee requires it. To remove pump, you unscrew the black plastic ring and it lifts out. Mine had 247K miles on it so I had tank cleaned, replaced rubber lines and connector hoses, replaced filler neck tube and replaced plastic straps holding tank to skid plate with 1 inch nylon straps I bought at harbor freight.
