Just ran across this, we aren't the only ones flummoxed by Fords decision, and yes the harness IS still in the door.

I would be willing to bet at some point on the next few months the harness will no longer be in the door unless Ford sees the error of their ways and puts the correct hardwired keypad back in.

Also the KYD folks are one of the few YouTube channels I actually watch regularly.
