I met a car on a small road, and smacked a limb with my side mirror, knocking a hole in the mirror cap
I was mad my brand new truck had already gotten damage, but I try to find the silver lining in anything bad. I thought, well at least it didn't bust/crack the main mirror housing or the mirrors. Plus this gave me the opportunity to upgrade the xlt caps with a color matched cap. This was the box the caps came in from Partsgeek.com showing part number.
I worry like that when a ram pickup passes me on our neighborhood streets.
it's tight..
We have a very narrow low speed tunnel here and you'll see opposing trucks fold mirrors when they see each other. It's probably not that tight but with distracted drivers it's nice to see people paying attention to each other. Im still waiting to hit something with them due to someone encroaching my lane.

Reason: autocorrect is evi.
It's cheaper to be safe the sorry when all that's needed is hit the button for a quick fold. I do this all the time on tight roads when passing other trucks. Also when staying in hotels and parking for the night in those tight spots.

Yeah, my situation occurred in a blind curve with no time to prepare.
