Ran out of time last nite after work changing plugs coils and wires. Only got to 12 out of the 16 with the passenger side lowers not replaced yet. Any issues with running for a day or two like that? Truck has 92K and plug wear/coil corrosion was consistent with mileage.
Well here’s an update on this project- 4 of the 16 plugs were headless horsemen. Corrosion at 92K got to 3 on the lower passenger side and one on the driver side. Plugs at 92K
Coils had corrosion on all the pills and one had eaten a part of the plastic down low. I rebuilt all the coils and cleaned up the corrosion on the packs. I attached the one pill to the new spring using heat shrink. Going to keep them as spares.
I don’t recommend waiting to 97K for this service.
