I am reassembling a project I did not disassemble (LOL) and having wiring questions. The previous owner left under hood wires loose everywhere and I need some help hooking things back up, Does the voltage regulator mount to the fenderwell or radiator support? Also any underhood pictures showing wire routing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

The regulator mounts to the core support drivers side. This is a 65 but they are the same.
Crop Duster, is your harness a reproduction and if so who made it ? Looks great !
Yes, it is a reproduction. I got all of the under-hood harnesses from Mac's which is owned by Ecklers now. At the time they had the best prices, but about all the re-pop sellers stock the harnesses. The under-dash harness is also reproduced but is very expensive. The only harness that isn't reproduced is the harness for the add on oil and Alt gauges.
crop duster, The capacitor in your pic., Is that only on 1965 or should 1966 have it as well? I took my harness out a long time ago and old pics do not show that was on mine (1966). Not saying it shouldn't be there, but I don't see I had it on. I haven't started mine up yet but will be in near future so I want to make sure if I need it, I get it installed. Thanks
The capacitor is for radio noise suppression with the points type voltage regulator. It appears you still have a points regulator. I would buy a new solid-state regulator then the capacitor isn't really needed.
I'm not sure what you need a picture of. The alternator is so close to the engine that it is impossible to get a clear picture of the wiring. There are free wiring diagrams on the Fordification website.
