So truck just got new 37” tires. While in for alignment they had to replace track bar and pass side outer tie rod.
got truck back and now tires don’t rub at full lock either direction like before and the turning radius is terrible
do these trucks have limit stops? I can’t figure out what they did but the tires used to touch the arms at full lock- even with the old. Tires that were absolutely worn and bald and now they aren’t even close to the arms in either direction
i don’t know what to look for or say other then it used to rub and now it doesn’t- can you make it rub again?
Well- it’s cold outside so I haven’t jumped into looking this thru but-
it dawned on me I have dual steering stabilizers and they may not have put it back together right and the stabilizers may be stroked out and limiting the turning———
possible

possible
that would make sense
the only other thing that could change the stop position is to put in a shorter pitman arm and that is a lot of work
New tires
new track bar
new outer tie rod
new drag link
went out and looked- they put the outer end of the stabilizer out too far- I put it back where it was originally and now we can go full lock to rub- glad it was simple-

Glad you got it figured out, it kind of tells me they didn't test drive it prior to you picking it up.
from where it was parked i would say you are correct. pulled out of bay turned left (steering stabilizer still set as i left it on this side) backed in to spot. they never had to go right to see it didnt turn tight.
i drove it home and noticed it didnt turn tight and didnt rub anymore-
