On my 24 F250 Tremor, Just had the TPMS sensors and Keyless entry take a dump. Pretty sure it leads to the RTM Module. Going to bring it to the dealer, Has anyone had any experience on availability of these modules? Just trying to figure out how long they might need to keep it to get it resolved. Definitely not related to fob batteries or any of the sensors. I don't keep any chargers, dash cams or other devices that might interfere. It basically started with the Keyless entry not working then shortly after the TPMS going offline. Pulled the rear trim and ceiling to make sure the connector on the RTM was not loose as I've heard some folks have had these fault with a loose connector. Also doesn't seem to be a fuse as the same fuse is listed to power the 4WD controller and my transfer case shifts just fine.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
They determined it was a cabling issue under the back passenger door. Some corrosion in the bundle. Seems strange in a year old truck, but we'll see. Hope to have it back today.
If my recent experience with the telematics module is any indication they have to hook the truck up, get codes and communicate that to Ford to get approval to fix it and/or get repair solutions from engineering.
Previous to that I was 10 months getting non functioning traction control to operate again due to the back and forth between dealer techs and engineering. Good luck to you.
