E4od transmission issue
96 f150 I6 2wd auto. It isn't always there, but I haven't been able to locate a pattern. It'll hit about 40mph and continue to rev without shifting. It'll also stall when coming to a stop as if the clutch wasn't pushed in a manual trans. Fluid checks come back fine. Shifting into park, key off and restart seems to fix it for the reminder of the drive. I'm not noticing any hard shifting, just the excessive rpm increase. Looking for diagnostic pointers.
