Hey guys, This is probably the dumbest question I have yet to post but...How the hell to I fill my aftermarket aluminum radiator? It doesn't have the traditional top with a cap. Is it that secondary tank to the top right of it?
Am I the only one thinking that maybe ,,, just maybe ,,, a 6.0 isn't the best choice for an inexperienced/ novice owner that needs to ask how to fill the radiator?
Regardless of if you love or hate the 6.0, I'm pretty sure everyone would agree that they require attention and some basic understanding of what's going on from their owners/ operators in order to live.
OP, here is a wealth of knowledge here, I suggest you do a lot reading around this forum ( like a lot, several ,several hours worth of reading), and decide if the 6.0 is the platform for you or not. If you decide that its not for you, you'd be way better off selling a running truck now than a non-running truck in the future. If you decide it is the platform for you, then maybe start purchasing some of the unique / special tools required to maintain these engines (little things like the long reach torx bits needed to remove the injectors), that way when the time comes to do some work, you at least have the needed tools.
