Stepside bed parts

I recently bought an 82 f150 stepside. I'm considering replacing the wood bed with a metal one. I notice the box unbolts into 5 sections including the wooden bed. My question is, can I get a metal bed or any other replacement parts for that specific box, aftermarket or otherwise? I've veiwed some sheet metal sites, but don't see the stepside box mentioned.

Unless you want a wood bed you'll have to build a plate. It's not hard to do. Most just leave the bed intact and cut a plate to fit the bed. The dimound plated steel painted to match or the Alm. or stainless Dimound plate looks good as well. The steel choices is up to you and easy to lay in place.
