Good evening Steve, had low cloud cover here most of the day but has cleared off in the past couple hours, only 17°..I'd like to cut my grass at least one more time but need the left leg to operate the garden tractor. Grass is about 7 inches tall and some of the weeds are 2 feet tall..soon be tough to cut..

Howdy.. that is a bit tall for grass.. Mine hasn't grown since I cut it last week. my ankle is still a little tender.. Was on it most of the evening at work yesterday..

How does that handicap work anyway. I've only golfed 3 times in my life. Once with a friend that used to live in town that I did way better than him and twice on company events. I never really had much interest in it but I know it is a challenging game..

I think it's based on 10 rounds. They say you only hit your handicap 25% of the time. It isn't as easy as it looks.I can attest to that.

If I remember on those company events out of all the 18 holes the closest I came to reaching par on any of the holes was one under , the rest were 3 and more. Some of the guys thought I did pretty good for never golfing before and said I did better than some of the regulars...lol
