Here's what I ended up getting. I was a little worried about the way the frame narrows as it comes toward the front, but looking at the diagram posted above this is how the frame is. I'm just really nervous about spending $2,000 on something that I don't know what it's supposed to look like. Found the VIN and it checks out as a 78-79 F250 4x4 supercab. If you see anything really bad here please tell me. Otherwise excited to dig in and really start this project.
Did you get the paper title? Are you going standard to standard or auto trans? What was the trans type on that frame? You might be needing a different cross member. ?? Looks like you need these in a few places that I can see already. https://shop.broncograveyard.com/196...YaAtKAEALw_wcB
Interesting that is is 4wd and has a STEEL aux (front) tank. I have only see a 4wd with a plastic tank and the large skid/support shield. But that is on regular cabs only, I am not sure about a 4wd SC set up.

He didn't have a title but I got a bill of sale and a KY form notarized that I need to title it in KY, so I'm good there.

I have a ZF5 manual going in; I'm not sure what was there before and the VIN doesn't indicate that, so...not sure how to find out? What does a manual crossmember look like?
I know I'm going to need different engine perches for my 4.9L. Are they the same for all the F- trucks including the F-150 of the same age?
THANK YOU for the parts recommendations. I need new spring brackets and shock brackets too. I hope those are pretty easy to find.

I'm pretty sure that is aftermarketet and newer, but I'll see when I dig into removing it.
