Had no running lights as the fuse kept blowing, finally found the problem, the socket on the left running light. The running lights now work but the dash lights still don’t. I replaced the switch and the dimmer switch. I pulled the instrument cluster out and with a test light can verify that one of the pins gets power when the light switch is pulled.
don’t know if this is relevant but there’s no stereo and I’ve read the light blue with red stripped wire is illuminatation for the stereo, that wire is has no power. All the fuses are working as should
The blue with red stripe wire is all over place under the dash. Besides the radio, it feeds the cluster and all the other little lights in the dash. It does have it's own fuse in the fuse box. Looks like it's fuse 17 below.
