03 engine into 05???
Hello everybody. My 05 6.0 overheated and killed a piston. I have a 03 6.0 laying around my garage that’s been freshly Studded and all that. Just wondering if i can swap a 03 engine into a 04.5/07 truck. thanks.

You can. You would need to modify the harness of the '05 truck for the different positions of the ICP and the GPCM unless you have the '03 harness. That should not be that hard if you are electrically capable.
