05/03 pilot injection?

I read on here the other day that 03/05 has no pilot injection. Is this true and are the injectors the c94s. Great truck, no flashes, no problems 16.5 miles per gallon in northern California very hilly.

I don't understand your ref to 03/05? What is the build date of the engine in your truck?

I think that was the change over month, too. If it was early 05/03, it could be the old ones. Late May builds were suppose to all have the C95's.

may 5th, 2003 is when all engines got the 95's, the 94's were only used in one assembly plant after 04/2003 as i recall.....
