I didn’t feel it but my phones went berserk just before it hit. Others I know felt it for a good 30 seconds.
An interesting graphic about the intensity of the shock waves. This was about 2 hours after the big one hit showing the aftershocks. Even had a 2.X one about 15 miles NW of me.
For awhile, I had a place in Eureka. I was only there on my off days. It was far enough away from The City to keep an extra girl. Everything was so much cheaper. But the commute wasn't worth it.
I deemed myself save from an Oregon tsunami,
for one I’m not sure a massive wave would get this far , lots of Tsunami signs around coosbay but also lots of mountains in between, I guess the rivers would swell but I’m still up in the hills from those , the jet skis are tuned up just in case .
anybody remember Shlitz beer , my dad drank that , come to think about it Shlitz got me started , that and Moms boonsfarm ,
talking Turkey 🦃 I’m about ready in a few days putting a bird on the smoker , I’m thinking a 14 hour smoke on low / med heat with somekind of liquor or juice for moisture, my last brisket was Kentucky, whiskey braised with Dr Pepper moisture mix , I thought that combo turned out great .all I know is I not a fan of dry poultry so maybe adding injections or stuff it full of butter 🤷🏼♂️

Marinade it and inject it.
I have one of these things. They really work. Get one big enough for a turkey, and you can still use it for smaller birds like duck and chicken. If you get the chicken size, you can't put a bigger bird on it. I know this because I bought the chicken one first. Now I have both, and only use the big turkey size. Every bird I cooked with it was super tender and juicy. It works in the oven also.
Amazon has a lot of different versions that all work the same. You can usually find them at Target, WalMart, Kohl's, Williams Sonoma, Cost Plus World Markets, Home Depot, and Sur La Table. The stores probably have them on sale, now that it's after Turkey Day.
Not sure that whole setup will fit in my smoker , being upright , maybe a chickin, that’s the same concept as beer can chicken and both works very well .
