I need to replace the harness going to the glowplugs but I can't seem to find the correct one. I have a 1994 f250 7.3 IDI Turbo and found it on ididiesel.com but it doesn't look like it includes a couple things that are apart of the harness like a wire connected to the turbo, a connector going to the fuse box, and a connector coming off the glowplug controller and connected into the harness. is there another harness i am missing or would this be an entire engine harness? Sorry I am new to this and learning a bunch still.
Wire to turbo? What is bad on your harness if it is just the ends that snap onto the plugs is it just the insulation or are the connectors bad too? I repaired mine this spring just the insulation was bad. I found some vinyl tubing that would just slip over the connector. The wires seemed to be in good condition so I did worry about replacing them. Seems to be holding up just fine.
i have never seen a glow plug harness wire going to the turbo.
if the plugs are bad, i cut them off and replace with bullet style crimp connectors and finish with heat shrink tubing.
Sorry i forgot about this thread. I had a slow moment there and didn't realize the PO put all the cables together and heat shrunk them together. Took me a bit to figure that one out lol. Ended up ordering a harness from ididiesel and loving it so far.
I was thinking about replacing my harness, but looking at ididesel.com pictures,
it is only the GP Wires, not the whole Harness like the original with the wires for the
IP and Water temp etc... Even those plastic connectors etc... become in poor
condition after 38 years.
I even contacted him about it.
I'll get you guys some pics when im back there in a few days. I gotta replace the o rings and maybe the caps on the injectors its leaking very bad on 1 of them. But the new gp harness looks and feels like a good quality product im happy with it.

I don't believe there are any other connectors in the harness expect 8 ends going to each gp. Maybe your harness is grouped up with other wires?
I only recently found that site you bought the harness from and I'm glad it seems to be a well made product. Normally I do all my own work but those harnesses look nice and not too spendy.
Sorry for the really late reply. Life lol. I also threw on the return line kit from cdd since doing the harness because of a leak. I'm very happy with both of them so far. Here is a picture of it now.
