Got my WI title!

A few weeks ago I was inquiring about obtaining a title. I had purchased my 53 f100 on a bill of sale. The lady I talked to at the DMV made it sound like getting one would be difficult to impossible. I pulled up the statutes and admin code on the internet, followed them to the letter. Had a state trooper inspect the vehicle. He was laughing because it is completely disassembled. He filled out some forms, I wrote a letter explaining how I obtained the vehicle, included pictures, the bill of sale and a check for the title transfer fee. My WI title came in the mail today. About one month from start to finish and 100% by the book.

Darn don't you hate it when things work" by the book" I think it's more fun when you can skirt the book. Congratulations! I bet you feel better knowing you have a title in your name.
