Sealer

The 1962 body/ interior assembly manual calls for M-5397-A sealer in various places. Is there an equivalent to that today?

I assume its a sealer for body panels? Some body or seam sealer from your local paint & body store should work.

The sealer was spec'd on things like the fresh air vents, not on body seams where you would use seam sealer.

You can also use 3M strip caulk in places and is identical to what was used on large gaps and removable parts.
