What did they use to seal to cab and the cab on a 1962 unibody top together? I need to seal mine back up and was looking for something to do it with. It's the panel joints that I'm talking about.
The stock stuff is Body Sealer. Ford Number B8A-19562-1 for light colored paint
and B8A-19563-B for dark paint. 3M Brand brush able seam sealant is a good replacement as it comes in cans Toothpaste tubes and caulking Gun tubes. There are two differing kinds non hardening and hardening. For the roof gutters use hardening self leveling type.
The stuff used on clips and holes and
removable panels is Asbestos reinforced sealant M-5397. So you are possibly killing your self when sanding and cleaning up a slick...LOL....
