He is like PTT W/Arod, they make a living on telling you the consumer that your truck will explode and kill your whole family if you don't do X,Y,and Z. And they just happen to sell the solution 🤥

A lot of the things he said (like glued panels) have been true for many years with steel panels too. Aluminum isn't bad, it's just different to work with. There are pros and cons. I liked his rant about the crate engine at the end. Bill and I could be friends.
He makes some good points. Very true about the glue holding the cab components together, but there are also a number of rivets. Glue is sometimes used on steel panels but they are usually still spot-welded. And aluminum is very difficult to straighten, so panels are replaced whenever possible. It's cheaper and the results are better. My guess is the totalled truck Powerstroke Bill was looking at had damage to the firewall and A-pillar, which would be very difficult and expensive to repair. Probably true if it was an older steel-bodied Super Duty it would not have been totaled.

Point out something has changed in the last 8 years of aluminum trucks?
I could go on but I'm just trying to understand what we're getting at here?

Old bald man yells at sky....ugh (Wait I resemble that now!). Captain magma is like 30% reasonable content, 70% non-sense. Guy couldn't get the coolant type correct for a 6.0 even though it is stated right on the bloomin' bottle...
