Hello, I have a 2007 F250 that I have just put a rebuilt 6.0 and built transmission in. before the engine was sitting for a couple years, it was fully rebuilt, including machined heads, and internal parts. My first set of injectors when I had put the engine were used out of old motor when previous owners mechanic opted to replace a bank of injectors for a different problem that remained unsolved. (Only had a few miles and were noticeably new). The first cylinder from the front of engine passenger side bottom WHITE O Ring failed and caused motor hydrolock. I towed back to shop and replaced the entire bank of injectors on that passenger side thinking that it was just bad injectors. New set came and were put in (I dip each injector into a cup of oil before inserting) and was each torqued down to 26ft. Ran longer than the first test run but still broke down after like 5 miles. To my suprise it was the same bank and same cylinder. I am running out of ideas now and am stuck on this current issue. I will attach pictures of the injector and O ring. Also from further inspection, the crush ring stayed at the bottom of injector cup when I pulled injector.
Need you 6.0 experts!!!
You're tearing them during install, dont use oil to lube them. I always used vaseline, but there are other (better/costlier) options
Will try vaseline tomorrow on it. I just find it weird that it’s been happening on the same cylinder as before. Will update once done tomorrow, third times the charm!!
Looks like it’s ripping upon removal after it gets cooked from the copper washer failure
make sure copper washer removed from inject cup
replace injector and replace injector hold down then make sure hold down bolt hole clean torq to 28ft lbs

Yeah I figured the problem had something to do with the copper washers. I thought 26ft lbs was enough. But I did clean out each cup with brake clean and made sure there was no extra washer before replacing that bank of injectors. I’ll tighten them down more including that first one and see how it goes.
I also thought about replacing the injector cups or would that be unnecessary to do?
Also make sure to blow out (with compressed air) the threaded holes for the hold downs as well as those for the oil rail. Fluid in those holes will throw-off the torque measurements.
