Electrically Wacked Out
When I use the wipers, window buttons, and fan blower It causes the tach to stop working and gauges to go out and dash lights are affected. Now when it's running and lights are not on if you use any of the above mentioned things dash lights will come on and each will drop to zero. If lights are on (i.e headlights and dash lights) and any of the above mentioned things dash lights will go out. Wiper motor use causes a relay to chatter also. Alternator is two years old and shows 14.3 volts. The truck has only been started a few times over the last two years cause it is a spare. It seems like a really bad electrical drain but from where. I suck at electric stuff...Yuk...lol.
Anyhoo, any ideas or a positive fix I WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. BobbyB69
How are the battery terminal connections and the connections at the fender mounted starter relay (aka solenoid)?

You might have a multi function switch problem, but I'm not familiar with those, because my '88 has the switches on the dash, instead of the steering column stalk.
I would monitor that tach wire at the ignition coil
I would also check every ground I could find
Get yourself an EVTM for the truck so you can see where they are all at
That multifunction switch and the tach do not have much in common
