So the new converter did the trick? If so, which cat did you use?

So it went from .55 to .11 on CO%. Do you know what the allowable is? That's like 20% of what it was, seems like a great improvement.

Maybe I’m the one reading it wrong but it looks like 1.20 is the allowed ppm.

The CO2 went from 1.75 to 1.09 ppm.

The CO is a percent
1.2 percent is the limit 1981 and newer
1980 is 3.0 percent
1976 5% IIRR
Motorhomes and HD trucks were up to 11 percent
I would have used the cheapest 49 state cat I could find

But if that converter only lasts a year, what do you do the next time around?

Well, they are warranted for 3 years, so I get another
Guys say that about the hundred dollar Subaru cats
I use them all the time
Have not had to replace one yet
Hell, I get more $ for the used substrate than the new cat cost me in some cases

The emissions testing also measures the O2 content. If it is about 20%, they they know it's not right. At least that is what they did in WA State. Fortunately, the air got so clean, the closed that program down. I know, even Ripley was questioning this, but it's true.
