Chrome Windshield Trim

I have 70 F250 and I have tried searching all the parts sites I could not find anyone that sells new chrome/ss windshield trim. Anyone know of a place that does. I guess I can just buff out my old trim and use it not lol.

I'm not say nobody makes it but I've been on a lot of supplier sites and never seen re-pop trim for the windshield offered. The good thing is the trim is Stainless Steel not chrome so as long as it's still straight you can recondition (sand it if necessary) it and polish it back to looking great again. I would suggest looking up tips for polishing Stainless Steel. Even if you have some dings and dents sometimes you can lightly hammer them out from the backside.

Good Luck

@rrwolfjr

I have a ‘70 F250 CS, when I bought it I got some additional trim pieces thrown in the deal and windshield trim was part of it. When I get off work today I’ll send you some pictures👍.

If you have the original stainless window trim already, it will polish up amazingly well. Even if it is has some dents or light damage, it's really easy to fix and polish. Even if it were available aftermarket, I would guarantee the quality would not be anywhere close to what the original stuff is and you'd be disappointed with the purchase, and it would be spendy. Use whatever cash you planned to use for replacements and pay a polisher if you don't want to tackle the job yourself. You won't be sorry.

The set on the hood is an original set (the “extra” I acquired) as is the trim you see on my truck. Apologies for poor quality photo, weather isn’t too good on the mountain and it’s dark. I’ll get better pics if wanted in the daylight👍.
