resetting service engine light

Can any one tell me how to reset the service engine light on a 2002 explorer? Thanks in advance.

from what ive seen/heard just disconnect your battery supply for 10 minutes i believe an you comp. should reset

well id rather try this before spending money on a service/part you wont need...if it doesnt work then take it to somebody

you can go to auto zone and ask them to turn it off for you.
Just tell them that you left the gas cap off and thats what the light is for
