Starting Problems

I have posted stating problems w/Dad's 91 Ranger before. But he is still having problems. The truck has manual trans and the 4 cylinder engine it seems to have a faulty safety switch on the clutch. Because you can sit in the truck and try to start it over and over 10 times and 1 time it will not start . I don't know much about his Ranger compared to my 88 F-150 . Is it hard to change that switch ? Maybe bypass it ? If so how? And price ? You guys out there have been alot of help in the past I hope I can get some help. Dad does'nt have alot of money thats why I'm going to help him as much as I can.

just unplug the wire from the switch. my neghibor has a 91 Bronco and he had the same problem and he just unpluged the switch (but you have to watch it because it WILL start when its in gear)
