I have a 03 E 350 cargo van with a v 10 engine that I take off road. What size tire and what kind do you think will be more agressive than the stock ones since it is only 2 wheel drive ?
One other question. What kind of mods can I put on the van to increase the mileage and if possible the power. From all my searches on the internet nobody seems to make any aftermarket parts.
ya can't get a k7n filter for a v 10 van or pipes. ford says no larger tires than their 245's...any ideas that have been tried out ??

Okay, here's what you need to do. Call Superchips and order a tuner. Then you can put up to 315s on it. The K&N filter should be the same as the one for the truck, have them check the paper filter numbers if they are the same then get the truck filter. Pipes will have to be custom fabricated by an exhaust shop, as the wheelbases are different for the van and the truck.
Tires look into BFG all terrains or mud terrains, also super swamper Trxus M/T. Relativlly good prices on all three, about $140 a tire. Not sure if 315/70/16 would work because of the width, 12.5" 385/75/16 may be a better choice, litte narrower and will fit on stock wheels, so they shouldn't rub on the fender when turning and flexing. That's my suggestion "IF" 33" tires will fit, I personally don't know for sure.
I have a 4x4 that sitts about 4" higher than a 2wd. I had to trim bumper and rear edge of front fender to keep tires from rubbing when turning and flexing suspension. Rears fit fine with no mods. I run 35x12.5/16.5 on 8" wide wheels.
Banks makes an exaust system from the headers on back. But be prepared to dig deep into your wallet. It is the system for the class "C" RVs. Aftermarket air filter companies (Green,Blue,Red colored) all make direct replacement units. A Superchips 1715 Max Micro Tuner also is recomended.
I just got an Accel Kool Blue filter for my van. The air box for the 4.6, 5.4 or V10 is the same.
I had 265's on my last van and they would just slightly rub.
