What years would swap with a 97 e 350? I want to put a conversion van on my cargo van chassis. Any help appreciated.

92-2008 is virtually the same ...there are only cosmetic differences like the lights / grill but you still need all of one like the 92-96 grills are same the 97-03 are unique and the grill changed again from 2005 to 2008 as did the light assemblies. The dash changed in 97 IIRC and again in 005 I beleive..If you need to make one from two trucks just make sure they are in the same year range...As far as complete swap all doors fit.... as do signal lights ....

 

+1 with Blageurt---he's very spot on with the differences he cites.

There is one minor change to the front doors which involves how the mirrors are mounted. I believe in model year 2003 Ford went to a four bolt mounting. While the doors are all the same from '92 through current year as far as fitting the body there might be small changes such as the mirror mounting.
