Some areas you can’t hardly give away a LWB. Other areas it’s the opposite.
14 gallons of extra fuel capacity is nice to have in the CCLB.

Most Definitely

It sure came in handy on our 43 day 13,135 mile loop thru Western Canada & AlaskA

All the city folks here on the East Coast wants lil ol short bed trucks

Most every Super Duty I seen all thru the Midwest was 176” WB 8ft bed & it sure put a smile on my face

id sure hate to fight the WIND all all across SD ND WY & MT in a SWB truck

I converted to long bed 28yrs ago & currently own Two LWB F350’s

Love my longbox. The extra distance to empty is awesome towing. Came from an f-150 with a 5.5’ box and can’t see myself ever going back. The extra space for hauling stuff while camping is crazy. I see short box half tons and can’t believe how small they are. Also, when going ice fishing, it’s allowed me to get a bigger shack. For a 350, I can’t believe how well it rides. Payload of 4400# as well. Really loving this truck. Longbox all day.

IF there were a vehicle on both sides of the truck when I came out of the store that day, and they didn't follow standard urinal protocol by leaving an empty spot on both sides of THEIR vehicle, then I would have wondered why they didn't park in one of the other 20 empty spots that day...
I believe I said "when I had the camper on", a slide-in camper... and... I also said "when I parked in between those two cars"... So... In my mind that does make a bit of a "difference" as to the outcome of what people may think of the SOB parking there...

LOL when I park my 450 at work, it sticks out in front of all the rest of the cars up to the middle of the front doors. Makes the F-150's and Rams look puny. Funny thing though, there is still room on either side to fully open the doors of the cars on either side. At least at work. In Rockford, each rear tires is ON the lines. When I can, there is a spot next to the lane for one car, I can park there so that my back end isn't sticking way out and not take up two spaces. If I back into a sidewalk side slot, the truck doesn't stick out nearly as much as the rest, and is only out about a foot or two.

Funny though, LB vs SB is sort of like RWD vs 4WD. Some like it, some don't, me, don't care. A RWD DRW would be a blast in the snow, except of course when traffic is around.

Yes, I had a 2015 CCSB, and I believe it was technically a 26 gallon tank.....

It's pretty nice now that even the regular cabs have a 34 gallon tank for gas, and 29 for diesel.
