Fuel System Cleaner?

Come to think on it, I think I did that very thing. I know it was a stock 2bbl when bought in May 1986, but the carb needed work, and I had this Holley already, so a Mr. Gasket adapter was used for a few months, then I think maybe was following Spring in 1987 I did the intake as I did the cam. You are right, it did just fine.
what model of carb should I get and what spacer?

Mr. Gasket 1933 Mr. Gasket Carb Adapter (holley.com) is the adapter I used then, it was Mr. Gasket before Holley bought it. In my case I used a Holley "List" # 1850 4 barrel 600 cfm carb I had and knew I was gonna use anyway when I put an intake on, just was no need for me to rebuild the stock 2 barrel carb then. The 2 barrel is not a difficult one to rebuild.
If your truck is an automatic, you'll need to extend the transmission kick down link with a kit too. If funds or time are tight, might be best to rebuild your 2 barrel with new gaskets and accelerator pump and power valve for now.
