Tach Red Line
I was looking at an older thread that was discussing tach red lines for the 7.3 (non-chassis cab). In that thread the 2020's had a red line of 5500 and the 2021's-2022 had a red line of 6000. My 2024 XLT DRW non-chassis show the red line at 5400. I am curious if this is a 2023 or 2024 change?

That is strange. Looks like both are California trucks. 4.30 gears? 2024 Engine specs say max Horsepower @ 5500

The 7.3 redline set from the factory in 2020-2022 is 5700rpm. I dont know if that changed in 2023.

Check this thread out 2020-2022 varies 5500-6000 depending on the truck.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...e-on-tach.html seems to be true for the 2024 models also.

That's good to know. I don't plan on running at the upper limits, my OCD just wants to know why there are differences between the trim levels.

2023 F350 Tremor. 7.3/4.30 mine is 5800. If I'm seeing the digital tach correctly.
