SYNC Screen Freozen and Dead.....
Few months go my Synch would turn the radio off on its own while driving . Could never replicate it and only happened once in a while. Today my synch screen froze on the " 75 years Ford" screen and thats it. Already tried to reset it several times. Have appt with dealer but they need it for a week to diagnose. Pain in the booty electrronics! I had the recall done last year so who knows!

Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and that will make it do a hard reboot, that usually fixes it.

Both Batteries I'm assuming? Thanks! Will that erase all my settings etc?

Yes both batteries and you will probably loose some settings

I had this happen on my F150 a month or so ago. It was because it was trying to install an Sync OTA software update. It sorted itself out after a few days and a successful installation.

well that’s good to know lol I do have an appt with my service dept tomorrow and will pass along the info . I don’t think I can live without it a few days so hopefully they can just do the update in house . Makes sense since it was working perfectly fine yesterday . Knowing my luck it will be all better in the morning 😅

Just an update , went to drive to my service appt and sure enough it went back to normal just like the above poster said! All good! Service advisor said to go ahead and do a hard reset in settings but I’m not going to . If it’s not broke don’t fix it
