I was wondering if the rear diff cover has a specific torque spec? I have an 8.8 cover, I think lol. I’m using RTV and is it alright to use limited slip in a non limited slip diff?

What are you working on? year/model/trim,/etc... it matters.
All it says is “Axle: 19” is that the code for it? Sorry I’m not sure what to look for
19= 3.55 gear, coupled with a 2wd 4.6 it's extremely likely it's an 8.8 ring gear. They have 3 different axles listed, 8.8, 9.75 and 10.25 for this year span. It is a traction lock axle meaning it requires limited slip gear oil. (Has clutches inside)
There should be two metal tags on the diff cover bolts. One has the type of oil needed and the other has the type of internals. If there's an L in the ratio it's limited slip. 3 55 or 3 L 55.
If you have an open diff it won't hurt to use oil with the additive already in it.
