Diff lube question

Getting ready to change front and rear diff oil. For the rear I plan on using Mobil 1 75W-140 SYN (LS). For the front I was planning to use Mobil 1 75W-90 non LS. However, Advanced Auto only sells the 75W-90 in the LS. Does it matter if I put LS in the front diff?

I don't think you need the LS for the front diff because it isn't a limited slip.

The Mobile 1 website states the following regarding LS 75W-90:

Exceeds the most severe service requirements in both conventional and limited slip applications.

Follows is the link:

Yea it won't hurt the diff to use the LS but it isn't required.

Can't argue with that. I suppose it is safe to use it then. Maybe that is why they don't sell a non-LS 75W-90 syn.
