Have you pulled and inspected/cleaned/resealed the IPR valve? It looks like it's stuck closed, and that's why the ICP builds as it warms up, and why the engine would start with the IPR unplugged.

Unfortunately, FORScan has more than one PID for some of the parameters, but they are named similar, or even identical.

If the last IPR disassembled itself, I'm wondering if a part is stuck in a passage, causing the ICP to build. There are some tiny parts:

Sorry, I re-read this thread - you have a new Motorcraft IPR installed now.

The particular IPR that is in there is my old one. My brand new Motorcraft IPR is not installed. The new Motorcraft one is the only one that runs with "sensor unplugged."

Boy, that's all I can think of, sir. Stuck IPR or blocked IPR passage, causing ICP to build independent of commanded IPR%. That, and the IPR must be a Motorcraft OEM part from a reputable vendor. There are counterfeits out there, evident from packaging mistakes, that will read like this when installed.

I have a few IPRs and I have disassembled a few and no parts were missing of the one in the truck. When I said it disassembled itself, it unscrewed but never came apart fully. I guess I got lucky with that.

Understood, ok, then I would lean toward a counterfeit IPR.

It's just weird, I had no issues and then my truck died on the highway home one day and I've been trying to chase it ever sense. The only thing I have seen is oil pressure so I started tracing IPR issues. Normally I wouldn't come on here but I'm running out of ideas. The only other thing I have to try is my oil. I have 5 gallons of new oil and might be worth checking out. Wonder if my choice in oil becomes too thick to pass thru the IPR somehow.

Man, I would not think thick oil would do this. It's something how the data looks normal at cooler EOT, with commanded IPR% at 8%, and ICP at 570PSI, then it starts climbing like you said as EOT goes above 165F or so, and IPR% hugs 4.69% the rest of the drive.

If you install the Motorcraft IPR from Jeli, and unplug the ICP sensor, will it run/drive?

It did last time. Completely odd but it would start and idle, but I didn't try to drive it.
I can try it tomorrow.

From this side of the internet, I'd do that, and if it drives, replace that ICP sensor with a Motorcraft version - to make sure the PCM is seeing what it expects from the sensor. At least that eliminates a sensor caused issue in theory.

I'm starting to think it's not the IPR valve at all but the pump. The return passage the dumps oil back to the front cover has to be plugged up somehow. I'm almost back to the house I'm going to pull one of my spare pumps off the shelf and see if I can work out how that could happen.

Yeah but my mechanical gauge reads the same as the ICP sensor and I don't want to just continue throwing money at it.
