thanks I think I will just order the camera part # and replace it myself. I am out of warranty from Ford.
I have geico bumper to bumper but with a $250 deductible. Cant imagine the camera costing much more that maybe a 100 bucks.

If you notice on my invoice there is a recall number, don’t know if you could inquire about that.

Mine also hates direct sunlight. It was 90F+ outside parked with the CHMSL camera facing the sun and even my backup camera was just a black screen. The CHMSL camera wouldn't even cycle it just freezes the whole camera menu.

Only a matter of time before they extend the 2017-2019 camera recall to the 2020+ trucks or start a new recall altogether.

I inquired about recall "22s51" and was told mine was already applied; to the tailgate camera. Mine was foggy. Apparently the recall does not specify WHICH "rear view" camera is covered. Either way, its a $40 part but I don't know procedure for alignment or integration with 360 system. I am hoping they use same recall again.
