Hey all, I am having a time trying to figure out this high pitch squeak I am getting when turning left. It doesn't happen immediately when I start to turn, then it will squeak, and stop again if I continue to turn sharper. So it only happens at a certain angle. It only happens when I am moving at speed 20+ mph and only when turning left. Ball bearings are new and have no play. I have greased every tie rod. Any ideas???
I took em out and greased them yesterday, Came out this morning and jacked up the right tire and gave it a wiggle, tons of play on the wheel bearing. I think I found my problem.

I always start diagnosing noises such as this by listening for any frequency variations due to road speed or engine speed. This approach will narrow your search down quite a bit. If it were me, I would definitely jack up the front end and check the hubs for wear and also rotate them to see if any roughness is felt while being rotated. These front hubs do fail and it is fairly common.
