VGT Issues ??
Ok 2006 f250 186000 on the clock . While pulling my travel trailer (6100 lbs) I was going up a steady grade , Not very steep and i saw that my boost was at 27 lbs . Backed off the throttle and kept my boost at around 20 - 21 till i topped the hill . I started watching my VGT on my edge monitor . They seemed to be bouncing everywhere like it was hunting . When i would go up another hill , it would drop to 15 and my boost would quickly get to 27 - 28 . When i would back off throttle it would jump to 85 . . What gives here ?? Truck runs fine other then the high boost . I dont want to lift the heads at high pressures but come on ..... It only a 6000 travel trailer . Thought this truck would be ok pulling one . Is this been discussed in the past ? Is it stuck vanes ? Ideas are welcome .
motor was deleted and new oil cooler with new seals in the hpop and stc fittings 6000 miles ago . Tia .
