Boost levels while towing????

I was wondering that some of the boost levels you guys see going down the highway and relatively flat ground? I purchased a 8.5x20 ft V-nose car hauler trailer and i'm running higher boost then I thought i would be. at 60mph I am running around 6 to 7lbs of boost. and if I go 70 to 75mph i'm at about 10lbs. I use to have a 28ft travel trailer and i didn't remember running this much boost.

That sounds about right.I see many different boost readings during different road conditions(hills).Running flatland at 70 I get about 5-7.It is very responsive when passing or hilly areas.

I am pretty close to those numbers. If I start climbing a hill, I will get over 20# boost.

Sounds about right for me, too. I cruise on flat land at about 7-8psi. Was seeing about 18-20 on hills last week until I developed a boost leak I now need to track down.

Is your truck configured the same as when you had the first trailer?
That will make a big difference.
For instance, do you now have bellowed up pipes and you did not before?

Sounds good to me to. Head winds would also play a part on how much boost you need to keep it a speed.

I peak at those numbers. Whwn i tow my empty trailer I run 80e, I recently towed a 77 ford 150 miles in 80e and it loved it. Hauled a manlift 80 miles on 60t and it went great as well. Driving unloaded at that psi is crazy excessive. I cruise at 75-80mph around 8-10psi.
I tow everything from 6k-12k. I usually put 20-28k on my trucks between daily driving in the city, towing various things, and driving 300miles non stop empty/loaded.
