Yay! Nothing new to report here. Still have an excessive heat warning from those who know such things. Scooter repair man did not show up yesterday, so I am praying he shows up today. I'm stranded without a working scooter.
It looks like the trend is to cut the pants above the ankles, so that the entire shoe is seen. At least that's how they do it for guys who wear pimp shoes.
Grounded again. The repair tech came out and checked my scooter. It needs a new controller and of course, has to be ordered. So, now I have to stay home until it gets here. That is going to be a major PITA. I will send an email to the Prosthetics dept and ask them to please put a rush on it as I have no other transportation at the moment since my truck is in the shop as well.
Happy Sunday Nor-Cal. Feels strange not going to church on a Sunday. Even though the church is only a block away, it is not possible for me to walk there. I can't even walk from the parking lot to the sanctuary, so getting a ride would not help. Luckily our church broadcasts the service on YouTube so I can watch it from home.
Everybody around here likes Chinese ribs. Steam the ribs first . Make sure that the meat is tender , juicy, and falling off the bone. Then glaze with sauce. Sometimes I use Asian sauce. Sometimes I use BBQ sauce. 2 racks of ribs may not be enough. Next time around, I may have to make 4 racks of ribs. People tend to eat their fill, then ask to take some to go. As if I am a commercial operation. Maybe that's my next calling. Open a rib joint. Chinese ribs and tri tip. Like those hawker stands in Asia. With the right location, it might make money.
I wear Velcro shoes, and I don't care what people think about it. Most the time I wear slippers. I am so old I don't care much what anyone thinks of me. I wear what I can afford, and what I like.
