Fuel Filler Neck

Hello,
I have a 1973 F250 2wd with dual tanks without ev.
133 WB / 8100 GVW / F253 Model / L 4
The left bed side panel is very rusted out and dented up.
LMC sells an entire LH bed side panel with doors instead of exposed fuel caps.
I like the idea of switching to bed panel with doors, but I am not seeing the filler neck anywhere.
They sell the hose, door, etc. but not the neck. Does anyone know what necks would work if I were to switch?
Also, attached is the screenshot of the filler neck section, can someone tell me what the numbers in parenthesis means?
I am fairly confident these are going to be next to impossible to find, if someone has square door fill tubes from 77-79 shoot me a message.
Thanks

Maybe ? https://www.fillernecksupply.com/

Does your truck have the Evaporative Emissions Control system on the fuel tank? The reason I ask, is that can make you needing a specific fill neck. I believe the only difference is what side the fuel vent pipe is on. That is how it is for the rear tank of a 77-79 anyway.

"There are two differences between the tanks. Tanks with EEC have a hole in the top center of the tank. A rubber grommet and check valve are pressed into the hole. A line goes from the check valve along the inside of the passenger side frame rail to the engine compartment where it hooks up to a charcoal canister. Non-EEC tanks don't have this hole. The other difference is the nipple for the breather line that is located right next to the nipple for the filler hose is located 180 degrees opposite. If you are going from an EEC tankto a non-EEC tankyou must also change the fuelcap to a vented style. The EEC tanks are vented through the EEC system and use a sealed fuelcap. Non-EEC tanks vent through the fuelfiller cap. If you run a non-EEC tankand a sealed cap the minimum is you'll have fuelstarvation problems".

No EEC tanks. I will check out fillernecksupply, thank you for the info!
If you happen to know the vent side, left or right for non EEC?

Pretty sure EEC tank has the vent tube on left hand side. As looking at the filler neck, from out side the bed side.

I verified both my tanks have right side vent, that said if I find a fill neck with a left side vent could that still be used along with vented caps?

The fill neck and vent line connections will be on the wrong side and I am pretty sure you can not get the line crossed over when going between the frame the bottom of the bed.

Hmm, remember, model changes occur mid-year. Therefore a late '77 build pickup will probably have the '78 fuel doors.
I made my own filler neck using two exh pipe elbow bends with straight hose between. This is for the belly tank.

My Calif smorgasboard pickup is a mix of different model stuff. And is a '77 F350 longbed Crew chassis, with a regular cab box with the two fuel doors. Of course the Crew cab's had an in-cab fuel tank, as is mine, up until '78 maybe. Not sure.
I made frame brackets to mount the std cab box to the narrower Crew chassis width.
If you didn't know the difference you'd think it is all stock. But the box with the fuel doors did have the race-track trim. Bonus.

I have done business with Fillernecksupply.com , and good folks to deal with. I always phone them direct with questions.

Good luck.

Folks at fillernecksupply used to carry both necks needed, however they are discontinued. They did not believe anything they currently have anything that would work.
I bought one each, midship and rear off ebay, hopefully I can get them to work cause they were damn expensive. The midship neck I found is off a 1980 f250, but looks identical to what fillernecksupply was selling (just used), as far as I can tell it is very close to what I need - hopefully close enough.
Thanks for the info everyone, appreciate it!

Food for thought, Evap filler necks (at least 77-79) have a single tab ramp just like the earlier trucks and cars. The 70s non evap have a special 2 stage ramp.

so….if you have to use an EVAP fill tube, need to vent and don’t have an EVAP system anymore, use the earlier cap. I specify a 69 f250 when I ask the parts counter for a gas cap to use on my 8N tractors.
