I run a pair of those shocks on the rear (price was right). If they had a front shock that could be used with little to no lift I would use them. IMO they are comparable to the 5100's.

On a side note, I will say that they were the most difficult shock that I've installed, not sure if they use a higher gas charge than others but it took a good amount of effort to compress, and once compressed I could not hold it long enough to get a bolt in. Could of been my technique, but I have never had that problem installing shocks in the past.

Am I reading this right? I couldn’t find a fitment guide anywhere on stock height trucks.
So will the 5100’s fit/work on a stock truck?
I had Bilistins on my 2005 HD2500, they were yellow, and I prefer the look of the 5100 over the 4600.

This gets asked in nearly every shock thread, and there are many. Bilstein will generically tell you 4600 for stock, 5100 for lift. 5100's fit and function fine on stock, unlifted Super Duty's. The rear 5100's have the exact same compressed and extended length as the 4600, the fronts only differ by something like 5/16". Not enough to make any difference.
