I remember Eibach was "cool" back in high school, price is right to try I think for my next set unless they are known crap. Happy with my Fox 2.0 over stock
Eibach is a good company, their springs are known for being good.
I run a pair of those shocks on the rear (price was right). If they had a front shock that could be used with little to no lift I would use them. IMO they are comparable to the 5100's.
On a side note, I will say that they were the most difficult shock that I've installed, not sure if they use a higher gas charge than others but it took a good amount of effort to compress, and once compressed I could not hold it long enough to get a bolt in. Could of been my technique, but I have never had that problem installing shocks in the past.

Good to hear they are decent, thank you. I will try them when the time comes.
For all your Rancho fans, Rock Auto has them from $34-$55 a piece (all different models)
Buy a 1974 Mercury Grand Marquis if you want a comfortable ride. Buy a Superduty if you need a truck. My 2023 is the best riding Superduty I’ve owned and I’ve had 3 different generations of Superduties. Changing shocks will have a negligible effect.

Friends don't let other friends from installing Rancho's
The Foxes can be rebuilt, the Bilstiens can’t. Saying that, I have seen plenty of folks state they are going well over 50k on Bilsteins with no issues, while I have read of some folks (but not all) having to rebuild the Foxes quite a bit earlier. Also take into consideration the cost of rebuilds as well as time for your truck being down during the rebuild (unless you have other shocks to swap out with). I’ve said this before and been blamed for hating on Fox shocks and that’s not the case. It’s just what I have read over the years. In fact, I wanted a set, but considering almost double the initial price, then the reports of more often rebuilds, along with cost and time, I went for the ones that are simpler, easily proven and less expensive on the pocket book.
Saying all of this, I love my 5100’s. I also upgraded my OE tires to the Falken Wildpeak AT4 295/70/18’s (34.5x11.5) that weighs 70 lbs each. No problem so far but between the new shocks (including the matching 5100 steering stabilizer) and the new tires, my truck rides smoother and more stabile than when new. It’s so much enjoyable to drive.
Same here, 2019 F250 4x4 and installed the 5100's along with matching Bilstein stabilizer and Falken Wildpeak AT3W 295/70/18 and my truck rides great until the Timbrens bottom out on a harsh bump, lol. I originally wanted the Rancho RS7MT black body shocks, but at the time, the rears were a 3 month backorder. I know the finish may fail quickly on the Bilstein as they did on my 17 F150.....
I had the Rancho 9000 on my 2011 and 2015 trucks.
I had the Bilsteins 5100s on my 2017 and 2020 trucks. ( they don't last more than 60,000 miles and need to be replaced)
My current 2023 truck has the Falcon shocks, ( part of the ReadyLift Leveling kit) and I think they ride as good as the Bilsteins on previous trucks. With 23,000 miles on them they are holding up just fine, We'll see if they last longer than the Bilsteins.
Out of curiosity, I searched for the 5100 shocks. All the fitment info I saw state that these fit 2017-2024 F250/350 with a 2.5” front and 0-2” rear lift.
Am I reading this right? I couldn’t find a fitment guide anywhere on stock height trucks.
So will the 5100’s fit/work on a stock truck?
I had Bilistins on my 2005 HD2500, they were yellow, and I prefer the look of the 5100 over the 4600.

This gets asked in nearly every shock thread, and there are many. Bilstein will generically tell you 4600 for stock, 5100 for lift. 5100's fit and function fine on stock, unlifted Super Duty's. The rear 5100's have the exact same compressed and extended length as the 4600, the fronts only differ by something like 5/16". Not enough to make any difference.
These 5100 on the Amazon link say for 2” lift yet when I search the 4600 they are the same size
also Summit Racing has the 5100 advertised as stock height also
so I guess 2” level doesn’t matter?

Had them on my 2014 F150, had to warranty the rears after driver's side sprung a leak, no issues with the second set. Comparable to Bilstein IMO.
